Mooring Pontoons with Fuel Stations
These specialized pontoons, fully equipped for refueling ships, are part of a project aimed at strengthening the operational capacity of border security structures. The technical solution combines operational safety with compliance with the highest naval standards, being intended for use by the Romanian Border Police and Coast Guard.
BENEFICIARY:
Coast Guard – Constanta: 1 Type I pontoon (Tulcea), 1 Type II pontoon (Isaccea)
Territorial Inspectorate of the Border Police Timișoara – Drobeta Turnu Severin work point
Giurgiu Border Police Territorial Inspectorate – Chiciu point, Călărași
Project: Mooring pontoons equipped with fuel station – Type I Lot 1 and Type II

Operational distribution of filling stations
Pontoons equipped with fueling stations were delivered and installed at strategic points across Romania, depending on the operational needs of the border security structures. Each location was selected to allow efficient refueling of intervention vessels, even in areas with limited port infrastructure.
Tulcea – 1 Type I pontoon (beneficiary: Coast Guard – Constanța)
Isaccea – 1 Type II pontoon (beneficiary: Coast Guard – Constanta)
Drobeta Turnu Severin – working point of the Timișoara Border Police Territorial Inspectorate
Chiciu, Călărași County – point of the Giurgiu Border Police Territorial Inspectorate
Technical features adapted to safe marine fueling
The two types of pontoons – Type I and Type II – are designed to meet the stringent fueling requirements of operational vessels. Each unit is equipped with large capacity fuel tanks and features structures sized for stability, safety and operational efficiency, regardless of the terrain conditions.
Pontoon Type I
