Mooring facilities – Sulina Town
As part of a project dedicated to improving access to nautical infrastructure, a set of floating modules (17 pieces) and separation and mooring fins (5 pieces) were supplied and installed in the canal bridge - Sulina beach area. These modern structures, made of fiberglass reinforced polyester, are specially designed to provide safety, durability and functionality in the landing/embarkation area of recreational boats.

Strategic distribution of pontoons in the Sulina canal area
The pontoons were strategically placed along the connecting channel between the beach access bridge and the waste transfer station, parallel to the pedestrian walkway. This positioning ensures safe and efficient access to the water for pleasure craft, facilitating the disembarkation and embarkation of passengers.

Robust construction and complete installation services
The body of each module has been made of reinforced fiberglass, with various layers to ensure structural durability in the aquatic environment. The exterior is protected with marine gelcoat, resistant to UV rays and salt water, giving the product an extended lifespan and a professional appearance.

Optimized functionality and usability
The system was designed to ensure the safety of passengers during access to/from pleasure boats and during boarding/disembarking from the shore. The new mooring infrastructure will be used by the residents of Sulina for boat parking, as well as for various recreational nautical activities or local transportation.
The new mooring infrastructure in the Sulina canal area will be used mainly for:
Parking for local and visitor pleasure boats
Easy and safe access for local transport boats
Organization of recreational nautical activities
Developing local tourism through improved access to water
